Common questions
When does my rate drop?
Automatically. Every night we recompute your trailing-30-day sales; the moment you cross a threshold, the better rate applies to your next sale. There's nothing to apply for and nothing to negotiate.
What happens if my volume dips after my rate dropped?
You keep the better rate. A rate only steps back up after 60 consecutive days below the threshold — a slow month never snaps you back abruptly (the 60-day ratchet rule). If your volume recovers during those 60 days, nothing changes.
What counts toward my volume?
Your paid orders over the trailing 30 days, recalculated nightly. It's a rolling window, not a calendar month — a strong month keeps helping you into the next one.
What happens to the fee when I refund an order?
The merchandise amount goes back to your customer, and processing the refund is free. The commission from the original charge is retained — the same behavior as every other card-based processor. The refund screen shows both numbers explicitly before you confirm.
What do chargebacks cost?
If a customer disputes a charge, the disputed amount plus the card network's $15 dispute fee are passed through at cost — we never mark it up. You get an evidence-submission form with a countdown to the deadline, and if you win, the disputed amount is credited back.
